# 10 meters (time of day & frequency?)

What is the best time of day and frequency in the 10 meters band to make voice contacts?

G’day Mate, for me in VK land is around 3.00pm until 5.00pm for DX sadly its not open for long maybe an hr max, for local contacts its mostly open all day, if you have been a CBer (11m) 10m acts much the same.  
personaly i find 15m is much better for DX due to the band is very quite and mostly open all day.

Hi, how are you?  
From Argentina you can make contacts from 12 UTC. to 03 UTC. The problem is that people don’t call CQ, they just wait for someone to do it. I make around 75qsos per day on 10m ssb

I learned today that there is a net every Monday on 28.390 MHz at 7:00 PM Eastern Time. Hope this helps!
