Currently it does not appear to be possible to join a contest directly from the WRL app if the contest was not already added from the website. Any plans to make it possible to join a contest straight from the app? BTW - the more I use the WRL app, the better I like it. You and the team are doing a fabulous job. šŸ‘ ---

@N7RCS Hey Jim, Currently due to the contest exchange fields (and that they are different based on contest), we have to add them to the contest page and get them all setup with those exchange fields for everything to work correctly. We do have plans to figure out a way to use the custom template builder for users to be able to just create their own logbook template using the template builder and it export via a Cabrillo log correctly. If there is any contests you would like to participate in that are not up there please let me know and iā€™ll make sure to get them added. Thanks & 73 Brad K4AZE ---

@N7RCS You cannot currently join a contest from the mobile app, but you can join a contest from the web and then log the contacts on mobile, including full use of the exchange fields! We plan to add the ability soon to join a contest from the mobile app, and as @K4AZE said, to even build you own custom templates for mobile logging as well! Hi @K4AZE, I just recently discovered the WRL app and have made it my main logging app. Itā€™s really great and keeps getting better!! One of my favorite ham radio activities are the summer and winter QRP Fox Hunts ([Welcome to Fox Hunts](https://www.k4oaq.com/fox/)). @N9WKE Hey Bruce, Since you are a member you can use the custom logbook template creator to create a template customized to your needs for this. Just goto [https://app.worldradioleague.com/templates](https://app.worldradioleague.com/templates) and click the ā€˜Create New Templateā€™ button at the top, name it, add/remove the fields you want/need and move then around by clicking and dragging the fields in the order you want them and then just save the template. Then you can create a new logbook and assign that logbook template and you should be all set.
