Confirm checking 24hr limit when uploading many ADIF files into new logbooks

I have a couple years of POTA/SOTA ADIF files to upload. I just joined WRL. I keep a separate ADIF file for every activation and I’m uploading them into separate WRL logbooks - one WRL logbook for each POTA/SOTA activiation.

I uploaded the first ADIF file into a new WRL logbook and did a “recheck confirms” to download the confirmations from LOTW. That worked great!

I uploaded the second, upload went fine. When I went to recheck confirms from LOTW, it said I can only do one recheck every 24 hours.

I have scores of ADIF files, one for each activation, to upload. So it seems I can only upload one ADIF and update confirms from LOTW once per day? This is going to take me MONTHS!

@KA3ZPH Hey Anthony,

What you would want to do is just upload your ADIF’s into your separate logbooks and then goto the QSO manager and select all QSO’s and then click the ‘Re-check confirmations’, this will check for confirmations across all QSO’s/logbooks.

Additionally, make sure that you are setting the logbooks up correctly before importing the ADIF’s. I would create the logbook in WRL, select the POTA (or SOTA) activity, set the park or summit reference (ie park number), this should set your logbook location to the park reference (so everything maps correctly), THEN import the ADIF.

Thanks Brad, appreciate the quick response. I finally had a chance to upload more log files and recheck the confirmations. Looks like the WRL confirmations are showing up, but not the LoTW and QRZ confirmations.

….UPDATE the LoTW and QRZ confirmations just needed some time, looks like they are showing up now. Thanks again, 73, KA3ZPH
