I joined WRL only because I received an email from WRL stating several hams were requesting confirmation of contact with them. My workflow is I log in AC Log, then upload to QRZ and LoTW. Clicking on the Review and confirm contacts button on the email took me to a page that lists the requested confirmations, so I confirmed my log shows the requested contacts are in my log. At the top of that page it states “The easiest way to confirm contacts is to import your contacts. If a match is found, the contact will confirm automatically and be removed from the list.” so I connected WRL to QRZ and uploaded my log book. WRL shows my log and the correct number of QSO’s, so I figure that means it contains the contacts that are requiring confirmation. However, the QSO’s are not being automatically confirmed and removed from the list, and if I click the log button it wants to create another entry for the QSO, which seems ridiculous. Any suggestions?
@W3JAW Hey John, welcome.
So after importing your contacts from QRZ (if you used the QRZ integration via World Radio League by entering your QRZ API key) then you should be good to go and can ignore the original list. Since you have 13k QSO’s it may take a bit for all the confirmations to register. You can also goto the QSO Manager (‘Logbooks’ → "QSO Manger’) and then select all your QSO’s and click the ‘Re-Check Confirmations’ button and it will pull in any additional confirmations as well.
I hope this helps! let me know if you have any other questions or run into any trouble.
Thanks & 73

Thanks for the info. I did use the QRZ API for the download, and that was a couple weeks ago. I leave it a while longer. If I think of it I’ll try the QSO Manager. Thanks again!

@W3JAW Did you get this issue resolved? I’m having a similar issue. I have many missing confirmations from my imports.
Well, honestly not sure. If I click on the ‘review and confirm’ button in the email, the QSO’s still show up wanting to be confirmed. I was given this suggestion: “You can also go to the QSO Manager (‘Logbooks’ → "QSO Manger’) and then select all your QSO’s and click the ‘Re-Check Confirmations’ button and it will pull in any additional confirmations as well.” Did that once, checked again, and they were still there, tried the QSO manager again and it wouldn’t let me run again without upgrading to the premium. Not doing that, as I don’t use WRL, I’m just going this to help out some other hams that want the confirmations. Now if I go into the logbook and look at the QSO’s there’s a green checkmark behind them, so I think that means they’re confirmed, not sure. Hopefully that has taken care of it. Good luck!

@W3JAW Hi John, thanks for doing that for those of us that primarily log on WRL. Yes, the green checkmark does mean that the QSO confirmation is logged on WRL.
Glad to help, and I apologize for the delay getting back to you. My VPN occasionally would stop outgoing mail and that’s what happened here, and of course I didn’t notice it until this afternoon. Glad we have that worked out!

After the contacts are confirmed, they should get removed from the list of contacts requiring confirmation automatically!
We will take a look at this!
If you could share a link or screenshot of one of the contacts that should be confirmed, that would help us fix it!
At this point it appears the contacts are confirmed, they have a green check
behind each. However they still show when I click on the click supplied in the email. And I’ve since deleted those emails, and haven’t received any further.

@W3JAW Hey John,
Can you tell me the callsign of one of those confirmed contacts?
