I am trying to make the plunge into DV. It looks like DSTAR is in most locations I travel to. I am trying to set up my ID-5100 and I must be missing something. I show up in the database but when I set up to use the local repeater, nothing. I must be missing something minor albeit important.

I just went through the manual again. Call is set. Repeater is set. I am not getting any of the responses that the manual says I should be getting on the display. I also don’t show up when I check recently heard online. I tried a different repeater with no luck. It seems like it might be a registration issue but that looks good to me.
