# First simplex contact!

I have called a few times each day since i got my call sign. Only been 4 or 5 days, but I was getting antsy! I called out CQ tonight and got an answer! He was also in Henderson, which makes sense. Only a few miles. But it’s pretty exciting anyway.

New to amatuer radio dont have a call sign yet just started studying for technIcian license cant wait to use my baofeng uv5r8w to see what it will do.
