On a recent stream James @N0WRL talked about the free access to HRP for teachers. Our statewide organization in Arizona would like to post it on our website, but we need the specific information about the program, who to contact, etc.

Ham Radio Prep for Schools Program - Let’s Put ham radio in every school in America - for FREE!

How it works:

  1. Send an email to partnerships@hamradioprep.com with your details and the name of your school
  2. Ham Radio Prep will provide free Technician License courses for one classroom of students
  3. Your students take the class, learn about radio and electronics in an easy step by step format with guided videos, lessons and quizzes
  4. At the end, if the students choose, they can get their US Amateur Radio License!

One classroom of students is FREE per school!

This fits very nicely into STEM curriculums as well as afterschool programs.
