Hi. My name is Justin. KR4EQV. I’m unfortunately at the mercy of HOA. I literally have a 130 ft antenna strung up in my 3rd floor. Creating significant common mode issues and killing my modem. I’ve experimented with varying watts. Anything above 10 watts creates issues at the USB of my radio, even with 2 x chokes. Advice? Magnetic Loop? I appreciate your time.

I have the same issue with the HOA. I built a 33’ 20m dipole in my attic. It does pretty good with a handful of DX only a week into it.

If you’re in a home with gutters and no stucco exterior you could try the HOA Buster Gutter Antenna from Alpha.
I’m fortunate that I have two very large fruit trees in my back yard and my vertical rises up between the two of them. It exposes about 10’ of camouflage painted whip above the trees but no one has said anything about them and they’ve been up almost a year.
I also have a 10-40 EFHW that runs from a tall vent pipe on my roof to a mast hidden in a tree in the side yard to a flagpole in the back yard. One neighbor asked me if it was an antenna but that was the end of the conversation.
You might be surprised at what you can get away with as most people are not observant at all.

I have an HOA buster antenna, and it works great! I made a 9500-mile contact this morning. I second looking at HOA Ham. He has lots of great ideas if you don’t like the idea of an HOA Buster. Also, check out https://www.youtube.com/@TheBrokeHam. He has some good reviews of the HOA Buster.
Do you have any access to the yard at all? I have had a lot of success running much shorter wires in my living room and verticals outside temporarily. If you are running inside like I am, choking is mandatory. What chokes are you using?
