I can set info for a POTA log, including current band, mode, and frequency. Can this be carried over to the spot page? What currently happens is the spot page shows all bands/modes each time it’s activated, although generally for a POTA (and even hunting from home) it’s done a band/mode basis. But, if I set band/mode for spots, log a contact, I have to take the time to reset the band/mode in the spots page.
Otherwise, having a great time using this for POTA, especially with an iPad……nice and easy to type and log.

Hello, @WD9HBC!
Thank you for reaching out! Do you want the spotting filters to default to the same values that are set in your logbook, or are you wanting the spotting filters to remain applied while you are switching back and forth between tabs?

Well, that’s a GREAT question because my initial reaction is “YES!”
Maybe something to throw out in a poll, but maybe something like having a button or setting? For those hunting, getting back to the same settings is helpful, but to be able to initially apply them to the current settings of the logbook might make sense, more for activations. Not sure…that’s a tough. Thinking of how I’d use it in the field (ok, I’m typing while thinking, so bear with me) having it sync to the logbook initially and then maintaining changes after that? Best of both worlds?

@WD9HBC Understood! I’ll get this added to Feature Requests to see what we can do!
Yes, I was just going to request this feature. Hunting POTA on 20m SSB for example, double click on someone to fill in the log, you finish the contact, then switch back to the spotting page, you have to reset the filters. If it re-used the previously used filters it would be great! Thank you
Yes Please I second this motion. let us have a filter that we can set up for our default spot. I am a Tecn only so I only use 10 m and Ssb and when we don’t have any spots I go off spot and come back and have to reset again. Yes in pota that’s even more of a problem
Thank you
