Offline callsign Lookup

I’m frequently activating a park without cell service. Could a download of callsigns be implemented similar to what N3FJP logger does for a laptop. I find this very convenient as I use the operators name during the short POTA QSO. I would join the WRL group if this feature was available.

@KC9RF We have plans to make the mobile app more feature rich and this will most likely be apart of those changes.

That’s great about the mobile app but what about those of us that use laptops or small windows tablets like the surface pro.

@KC9RF When this is released it will available for the mobile apps and the desktop app that we are planning on releasing in the next month or two hopefully. For the web app there isn’t really a way for us to have the offline callsign database work properly .

@K4AZE That is very interesting. . . However, would this make the mobile app bigger, or better? The idea sounds awesome, but how much space would it use?

@KJ5LMZ no idea yet. still in the planning phase. We’ve been building and updating the callsign database over the past year.

Sounds good. Currently I use N3FJP logger which the offline callsign database can be downloaded and callsign lookup done. I like the way that the DB are synced together which is a great feature.
I will look forward to using your app when it’s ready.
