Please put the United States of America as the first choice when selecting countries from the pull-down menu menus

Brad, including my thoughts to accomplish the request, I know you guys are working on a lot of updates to the app/desktop.
If this could be a selection of preferred default country, it would be useful for all users worldwide.
That would meet the request and allow it to retain the “World” in WRL!

@AE5TX @KN6USU Yeah i’m sure we can come up with something, like pull the country and make it default based on the users location settings. As we dont want to just strictly default it to the US as we have just as many non US users. I’ll talk to the team

The software is made in the USA. Placing the United States first shows we are proud of our country and the efforts of the people who develop it.
I travel abroad all the time, and people love the USA. No one will be offended if you place the USA first.

@KN6USU We understand that, and of course we are proud of our Country. We dont want to seclude our other users from other parts of the world, considering we are “World Radio League”. I think the best solution is just to implement logic that will set the users Country at the top of the list based on the saved location settings, so its easy for users no matter where they may be located.
