I wanted to confirm whether WRL member profiles, specifically the bio field, are publicly visible or whether a visitor needs to be logged in to see them. To test, I opened my own profile (K1DAW) in an incognito window with no session. The profile and full bio text render fine to a logged-out visitor.
While I had that incognito window open, I resized the browser frame and noticed the profile image behavior change. I had just uploaded a new avatar and it displayed as a circle in the narrower window. As I widened the frame, the image stretched into an oval rather than staying circular.

This may be intentional, but it looks like the avatar container is scaling width without a matching height constraint. If it is unintentional, a fixed aspect ratio on the container or object-fit: cover on the image would likely resolve it.
Feature request:
While testing the above, I confirmed that the bio and profile photo are fully public with no login required. Call signs carry an expected level of public exposure since they are FCC record, and I have no issue with that. The bio and photo are different, though. Those are user-supplied and can be scraped and correlated with the call sign and FCC db record to build a broader profile of an operator than the license record alone provides.
I would like to request an option to restrict bio text and profile photo visibility to logged-in WRL members. A simple per-user toggle in profile settings would be sufficient, defaulting to whatever you consider appropriate. This would let members share more freely inside the community without feeding public data harvesting.
