As a new ham one thing that it seems the community is in need of is a better place to have a radio dashboard from their PC while they are making contacts and surfing through frequencies. Hamdash.com has done a great job of getting most if not all features someone would want. However the one thing that’s missing is the ability to log contacts from the dashboard. It would be great to see these two tools work together to implement a way to have an easy to use dashboard with commonly used tools AND be able to log contacts without having to leave the site.
It’d be a benefit to both companies because people are using the tools and maybe that’s something which could be worked into the subscription price. I know that I personally would be more than happy to pay a few bucks to make logging easier and avoid having to go to multiple sites just to do everything I need to do. I also imagine that once I get my general license and am able to use more of the digital modes and will need a program running with its own screen minimizing the tab switching is an even bigger boon for me as a user.
