I’m relatively new to this, but I am planning on using the SDR-mobile iphone app to remote control my Icom IC-705 while away from home. Is there a way to integrate my logs from my iphone to WRL from the SDR-mobile iphone app?

@KZ4VD Hey Carl,
I’m not 100% but in theory you could run the web app + WRL integrations app to stream FT8 contacts to your logbook OR run the desktop app with cat control and the new WSJTX UDP listener to stream FT8 contacts. If you are only running SSB then you’d just need to manually log those contacts either in the mobile, web or desktop app depending on your setup while away from home.
The SDR contol app directly runs the 705 via a remote WAN/port forwarding connection, not a remote desktop app. So the Iphone IS controlling the 705. I run it as well with my 705. I was wondering the same thing since I am about to hit the road for the next 2 weeks. The only way I can see to do this is using the Icloud logging feature of SDR with the iphone. Then from a laptop, export the logfile to an ADIF then use the WRL web app to import.

Make one FT8 or SSB contact using the iphone anf log in manually.
It would be great if the WRL iphone app had a listener for logging. Not sure if the Iphone would even support that since it id choosy with what ports it allows…
Can I have that done by sunday before my flight?
