I’m studying for my Technician license but I’m having a tough time passing the practice exams. Does anyone have any good tips for retaining the info? ---

Highly recommend the mobile app. Used the mobile to study for my Extra, went through all the lessons at least twice and started on the practice tests. Kept taking them till I reached around a 90 - 92 score consistently then took my test. Passed with a 46 out of 50. Great tool. 73, Rodney - KJ5FWC Amateur Extra ---

I’m using the app currently to pass my general exam. The videos are awesome. They have subtitles so you can read along while you listen to the audio. That has helped me retain the info much better than just reading or listening alone. I can’t recommend the app enough. ---

I love the Ham Radio Prep app. I passed my Tech and General exam in one sitting. I was given an outdated General exam test that I passed before the VE’s explained that they had made a mistake then gave me the correct General exam test that I also passed. Here it is 3 months later and I am already practicing for my Extra license. I took all the quizzes until I scored 100%. Then I kept taking the practice exams until I scored 90% or better. I studied on my laptop with a large external screen so that I could see everything in large readable format. Even though I memorized the answers for certain formulas I still looked at Youtube vids for better explanation and then I worked the formulas/answers out for myself. I even copied and pasted the answers from the text lesson to a word document to help solidify the answers to memory and also used it as a study guide. GO FOR IT and good luck 👍🏾 ---

Ham Radio Prep course. Spend the the money then: Listen, read along the subtitles, then go read the text. Take the tests at the end of each chapter. Then when finished keep taking practice and random exams. It will be come so repetitious you cannot miss. Jeff K1JPR ---

I am using ham radio prep app and online to study for my tech. The one feature I am really liking is the most difficult questions mini quizzes. I can retest over and over the questions that keep tripping me up. My last two practice exams since using the most difficult questions feature were 95% and 98%. I highly recommend doing all the lessons and lesson quizzes, then several practice exams, then most difficult questions. ---
