# UDP Port 2237

WSJT-X’s default listener for Autogrid updates default is UDP 2237. I just found that WRL is also trying to listen to 2237. Is WRL doing something with the incoming grid square data?

As long as I start WSJT-X then the grid updater helper app then WRL it works as expected. However if I need to restart anything, I need to close everything and restart in that order.

@NY9K We are only starting the UDP listener on whatever port you specify. You can update this in both the desktop app and the cat control app.

Ahh - Interesting. I updated the listener in WRL and the reporting port in WSJT-X. I’ll try it out tomorrow. Thanks for the quick reply
