@KI5IQE Could you try reloading the page and see if it works now?

I took the technician and general at the same sitting and passed both. I already have a handheld radio and an HT base unit arriving today. Right now my concern is properly building a dipole antenna. What is the difference between 1:1 and 4:1 baluns? Phil, KO6GQN
@KO6GQN First of all WELCOME to this fine hobby, AND amazing community! For which band do you intend to build the dipole?
Great to be here. I just got my ticket, well, 24 hours ago! I took the test a few weeks ago so all I have been able to do since then is watch a lot of YouTube Videos. Of all the logging options I chose WRL. Right now all I can do is hit local repeaters with my analog HT and use EchoLink for DX. DE KE2EMK from Brooklyn, NY USA

Being new, I’m looking for contacts. With the vertical I have now, I find that 40m has activity but full of long time hamstrings who gab among themselves. I understand 20m would be better at night, but 10m for DXing during the day. How do we do this?
Hello I want to thank all the Ham Radio Prep people like N4BFR for helping me to study my technician’s license which I got in July at 11 years old and now studying for my General’s thank you everyone!
Great job. At 11 years old you have a fantastic life ahead of you and one heck of opportunity to make many thousands of contacts around the world. Congratulations.
Thanks @KI5IQE
Hi! Thanks for mentioning me. Congratulations on your license. If you are looking for a fun group experience, you might consider talking with your teachers or scouts about a ham radio contact with the ISS. That’s handled by a group called ARISS.
I Sure Will Thanks @N4BFR
Hello, I’m so excited to get my license. I need some help for how can I get more information.
