United States Army - July 1979 until July 2009. Initially trained as Radio Teletype Operator with Morse Code Qualification. Retired as a Combat Engineer, last 10 years of service at the highest Enlisted Rank of Command Sergeant Major. Became a ham operator in 2017, upgraded to General and then Extra in 2022 using Ham Radio Prep!!! Live in Southeast Louisiana.
