I’ve been a ham radio operator since April 30, 2025. I belong to a local Minnesota Ham club, RBWMS. I currently have a multi-band horizontal dipole antenna in my attic, a mag mount for 2 meters, a Radioddity HF-009 and an EFHW (FlatlandersMirrors). I have a Yaesu 991A and a Tr(U) sdx. My first radio was a Baofeng BF-F8HP PRO. I made my first DX contact on 10 meters. So far I have made QSOs with Argentina, Aruba, the US, Canada , Chile, Columbia, Italy, Mexico, Slovenia and Costa Rica. I passed my General test in December 2025. I’m enjoying working the new bands, but am still trying to join the 10-10 organization. One contact left.
