Retired and enjoying life. Finally, I have time to enjoy some of my interests, such as Amateur radio, fishing, and motorcycle trips and travels to foreign lands. Skiing and hiking used to be a passion; however, too many birthdays and knee surgeries have put those on the back burner.

I became a qualified amateur radio operator in 2023.

For radio equipment, I currently have a Yaesu FT-891 connected to an ATAS 120A antenna (in my vehicle), a Yaesu FT-991a, a Yaesu FTM400XDR, a Yaesu FT-65R, and a couple of UV-5Rs.

I am a member of the York Region Amateur Radio Club.

My mobile setup: Radios, on top a Yaesu FTM400XDR, a speaker and below that a Yaesu FT-891, mike holders all on a LIDO L-Max mount
