I’m brand new to the whole HAM radio world. Being a retired law enforcement officer with a lot of time on my hands I decided to get into the whole world wide comms thing. I have yet to even purchase a handheld unit, mobile or get licensed. Pretty much I’m here to gain knowledge, it’s just so very overwhelming especially since I have no idea what all the terminology means. In other words I need help.
