Hello to everyone. I took my Technician exam in November of 2024 and prior to doing that I had never even seen a Ham Radio before. I immediately began learning about everything I could find that had to do with Ham Radio. In March of 2025 I took my General license exam and began trying to learn CW. At first CW was not going very well and then I stumbled across a YouTube video that suggested that I associate CW and Sounds rather than learning the individual letters. Since I have been playing keyboards for over 60 years I picked up the Sounds of CW in just a few weeks and have not slowed down since. I enjoy listening to the music of CW and I quickly realized that Contesting was equally as challenging. I will never stop trying to learn more about Ham Radio.
