My base station is a Yeasu FT-710, typically running into a 65’ EFHW that is literally buried in my trees. I’d upload pictures but all you’d see is trees. In my Element I run with a Yeasu FTM-500. My HT is a Yeasu FT5DR. Guess that makes me a Yeasu fan boy. But in reality, that’s all I know. I owned a Kenwood TS-440 years ago. Never went on air with it and sold it to a friend. Bought that after I spent a year at McMurdo in 1990 running MARS for phone patches and Mars gram’s.
