The Tennessee Mutual Aid Group Ham Club is a mission-driven amateur radio organization focused on building resilient, off-grid communications across the Volunteer State. As the communications arm of TN-MAG, our club brings together licensed hams and technically skilled preppers committed to maintaining connectivity when traditional infrastructure goes down.

Our specialty lies in off-grid and emergency comms, including HF/VHF/UHF field operations, NVIS propagation, portable and solar-powered stations, digital modes, mesh networking, and cross-band relay systems. Whether it’s disaster response, grid-down drills, or local coordination, we train for real-world reliability.

We host regular nets, field exercises, and communications workshops to ensure operators are equipped, knowledgeable, and ready to serve their communities in times of crisis. From go-kits to base stations, our focus is redundancy, self-reliance, and interoperability.

Join us and become part of a technically capable, preparedness-minded ham radio community working to keep Tennessee connected—no matter what.
