Amateur Radio Marketplace Rules
The marketplace is for private sales and swaps between forum members. All transactions are made at the participants’ own risk.
- Use For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted in the title and clearly identify the item.
- List only equipment you own and are legally allowed to sell. Stolen, counterfeit, or unlawfully modified equipment is prohibited.
- Give an honest description, including condition, known faults, and included accessories.
- Include current photographs of the actual item.
- State the price or trade value, payment methods, and shipping or collection terms. No auctions or offer-fishing.
- Disclose any modification that affects frequencies, power, safety, normal operation, or legal use.
- Keep negotiations and personal information in private messages. Do not disrupt listings with insults, accusations, or price policing.
- A deal is confirmed when both parties agree on the item, price, payment, and delivery terms. Members are expected to honor confirmed deals.
- Use traceable payment and shipping methods. Buyer and seller should agree beforehand about insurance and responsibility for loss or damage.
- Do not create duplicate listings or bump a listing more than once every 72 hours.
- Mark listings sold, traded, found, or withdrawn when finished.
- Report suspected fraud to the moderators. Staff may remove listings or revoke marketplace access but cannot guarantee or enforce transactions.
By using the marketplace, members accept these rules and remain responsible for following all applicable laws.
