Suggestions for the app

I have 2 suggestions for this app.

  1. It would be nice if this app had the ability to upload our logs to Log book of the world for contests. As of right now we need to use a different log book for contests.

  2. It would be great if this app showed the number of previous contacts we have had with another ham operator, when we enter their callsign.

UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES NOT HELP. THE APPLICATION I NEED TO USE IS CALL LOG BOOK OF THE WORLD (LoTw), IT WILL NOT LET ME UPLOAD IT THAT WAY.

In addition to Bobby’s info… …

  1. Have a configuration file defining mode, power, look-up site, etc, as default for the new log entries?
  2. When adding a CALL to the log, have the system auto-remember the previous MODE or other info previously entered
  3. Auto populate the QTH field from the CALL field automatically. - auto-lookup QTH from (QRZ, HAMQTH, HamCall, etc)…should be done automatically.
    …This was just a quick overview of my opinion Bobby and JIm…

  1. This is a great request - we have this exact feature on the roadmap, we’re calling it “Logbook Settings”
  2. Agreed - we will get it done!
  3. Today, we are pulling in callsign details using HamDB - I think this is a great suggestion, we can look at QTH automatically and we also will add this to the logbook settings.
