Does anyone here have a HF yagi or hexbeam?
What do you think of them?
How hard do you think it would be to make one?
I have an idea that if I could make a hf 20m yagi that could be collapsible(aka, fit it into a 10ft long bag for transport) out of square or round bar aluminum I could use them for myself and resell one or two .
Or do the same with a hexbeam
Do you know if there is a market for them?
Any ideas?

i feel probably not a portable market for one, but they make a portable hex beam now, so who knows. For the thousand on the pota people out there there needs are quick, resident, and portable. i have a two-element at home, and it’s great for DX in higher noise and low wattage. So yes, on a base antenna, portable depends on what bands. just my view

my idea is for a just 20m antenna that i could sell and ship for less than what you can buy one from other suppliers.
