American States map suggestion

Hey there, I am chasing the US States, as an Englishman I do not know all the states and there whereabouts on the states map. I just wondered if it would be possible when you hover a mouse over the states map in the analytics section whether the state and the state abbreviation could come up, so as you can see what states you need to work. It was just a thought, I am running a state map in a tab on my browser and learning all the states, but I thought it may be useful to non US people who dont know all the geography of all the states that US people probably know off by heart. I know there is a list of what states have been worked below the map, but just hought for ease if you hovered the mouse over the states it labelled them.

I hope I have posted this in the correct place for WRL suggestions, apologies if wrong.

@G0VCW Hey Richard,

Yes, this is the correct place and also a great idea. To take it a step further I think it should be this way for the regular ‘DX Dashboard’ as well for us US users who dont know what each country or province is as well.

I’ll add this as a feature request!

Richard, you give too much credit to the typical American in terms of knowing which states are which! :sweat_smile:

If you can find any of the old YouTube Jay Leno “man on the street” interviews that he used to do, you’ll realize how poorly we know our own country. :unamused_face:

Hams are probably much better at this than the general public just from hunting POTA.
