I’m gonna get real basic here, I just upgraded to an Aston SS-30 power supply. I already have ring terminals on my DC power cord from radio to power supply. Is there any way to connect these without having to do something else? I feel like I’m overlooking something very basic here as my previous research says it accepts ring terminals. That Astron power supply doesn’t accept ring terminals. It is made to accept bare or tinned wires. If you are looking for a way to connect and disconnect easily you can put on pigtail with Anderson Power Poles to the power supply (30amp) on the pigtail and from the power cord from you radio. Or just cut the ring terminals off strip back about a 1/4” and put in the hole and tighten the screw on the side tight enough that tugging on it will not let the wire come loose.
