Hello, This John T (KJ5MZP) I’m a new tech since September, living in Amite Louisiana.
I’m attempting to work with Echolink…. I’ve successfully downloaded the program and it works on my devices, but I’m having much trouble with the numerous instructions and sites for validation & authorizations & uploading documents is been Very confusing and I’m quite frustrated with the whole thing!
Any hints & helps would be greatly appreciated!
Welcome, John. I wish I could be of help but my only experience with Echolink has been on my Chromebook to access nets that I can’t get to via repeater.
Hopefully some experienced folks will jump in here to give you a hand (and I’ll pay attention too).
I believe you need to send a form of ID like a DL license or a copy of your FCC license. What issue are you having issues with? It’s actually pretty easy if you have both in hand or at least a copy on your computer.
I see this post is 5 mo old so maybe you have this figured out now.
