Question about Logging [IN PROCESS]

Hello - I have a question about logging. Under the Mode tab why is there no option for Echolink? Having a General license I don’t use Echolink often but from time to time it is fun to hit a reapeater in another country. I know the ARRL does not count Echolink contacts towards awards and things like that but for my own personal recording it would be nice to be able to track who I have made contact with. How can I log my Echolink contacts?

@AJ1NG Thats a good suggestion! We can certainly add Echolink. I’ll add this to our feature requests!

@K4AZE Just checking to see if this is still in the works. I have a tom of Echolink contacts I would like to add to my logbook…

@AJ1NG Jeff,

It is, we had a few other things come up that i think pushed this down the list last week but i’ll bring it up in our meeting tomorrow and get this expedited. Its a very small change so it wont be difficult at all do it lol. Sorry for the delay.

Hi Brad - I am still not seeing Echolink for a mode when I log contacts. Was this something that could not be added?

@AJ1NG Hey Jeff,

It can be added for sure we’ve just had some bug reports that have taken priority and had an excess of feature requests come in and it has probably gotten pushed down the list a bit. I’ll see what we can do.
