Starting to scope out equipment for my shack. One of the first decisions to consider is how best to ground parts of my system. For connection to my ground rod, what’s best: solid, stranded, bare, insulated? Thanks.

I recently had to ground my dual band base antenna. My dad works for a gas company, he told me he had some 8awg solid ground wire. I used it, worked out great.
