I can help, IT specialist by day, misguided modulator by night. I use grid tracker with FT8, I would like to help testing FT8 functionality through the rig control and auto logging. I have everything streamlined with QRZ, LoTW, and N3FJP were everything auto logs or one button click import export of logs between all 3. I find that it is not so much so with WRL logging, and Rig Control App, seems bare bones.
Happy to help.
Itās funny that you should say that. I run SmartSDR and SDR-Control and love it and if it integrated into WRL, it would be incredible. 73, Dave.

At some point we will be putting out dev environments for the desktop app and have a document/page (something) that shows current updates, upgrades, fixes, etc that are on the dev environment (web and desktop). For now we just have the dev URL available.
Things to note: Youāll need to create a new account on the dev site and do NOT use this for your main logging account as the data gets wiped from time to time.
I havenāt done any software BETA testing since my Wildcat BBS (Mustang Software) days back in the 80s and 90s, but I am fairly decent at editing documentation.
Itās been a long time since my Technical Writing class in college (longer than most of you have been alive
), but Iāve written SOPs for Circuit City, for my Congressmanās Military Academy selection process and for an Internet startup when I sat on the board. Iāve copy edited a couple of books for a friend and I have a couple of articles that have been published in motorcycle magazines.
I am far from being an English expert, but I can usually determine if something doesnāt make sense to the reader and offer suggestions for clarity.
If that will help, I can put in a few (3-4) hours a week reviewing and correcting documentation.
