Hoping for some book rec’s for antennas that cover both theory and design. Dont let my AE fool you; Im a beginner with only a rudimentary knowledge/understanding of antennas. Id like to change that and learn more without getting overwhelmed at the start. Happy to get more advanced/technical once i have the basics plus a bit down pat. So looking for a beginner-to-intermediate level suggestion
A search of books on antennas yielded far more than i have time to read, and id like to begin with a great one.
Have you seen Coastal Waves YouTube channel? K4OGO explain all the antennas he made and you can see him testing them. Also he wrote a book of his antennas: Salty Walt’s Portable Antennas Sketchbook you might find helpful for you to follow step by step to get your own antennas created. I think that would be a good initial approach to antennas for you.
