Hey everyone! I’m struggling deciding on an antenna for my house. I don’t live in an HOA so no problems there. My biggest issue is my kids and the dog , I technically have plenty of space to put something on the ground but guy lines, ground radials etc… are problematic. Putting something on the roof is probably my best bet . I’m considering a G5RV mini ( 1/2 wave 20 meter version ) and I’ve seen some verticals that would probably fit the bill as well. I don’t have a tuner yet but it’s on my short list . I am open to suggestions and appreciate anyone’s thoughts . Thanks!
I love my G5RV Junior but keep in mind, with a G5RV you must use a tuner. If you go that route, I’d recommend the Junior which will get you 40m.
I remember reading or seeing in a video that you can bury radials but check with the experts on that, lol.

I use an end-fed half wave dipole. Goes over your head and you don’t even notice it.
