I’d like a contact queue, or a “pending” log, or “incomplete QSO” log, where this information is saved along with my notes for reference later, but isn’t officially logged, confirmed, or synced with QRZ, because the QSO hasn’t been officially made yet.
I still like to keep track of contacts that I TRY to reach, even if I’m unsuccessful, so I can refer to this later when attempting to make contact again.
For example, I may be trying to get through a pileup, but the conditions aren’t great at that time, so I would put them “in the queue” with their callsign and frequency.
Then I can move along to making other contacts on other frequencies. At a later time I when conditions are better, I can quickly call up that queued contact, and log it once we have a successful QSO.
