I know you guys are just getting started, but, it’s not acceptable that going back to edit a contest entry (ARRL Field Day) the two most important fields (Category and Section) are not displayed (or perhaps I missed something?). I hope this can be fixed. Also - dark mode is tedious with such a thin light cursor. It’s nearly impossible to track what field you’re in. Please enable light mode option. Or perhaps highlight the active field in some way.
Hi Jim! You can edit the contact by scrolling to the right on the contact field, the button is getting hidden because there are so many fields.
I made a quick video here to show how to do it: World Radio League - 23 June 2024 | Loom
Also, good feedback on creating a light mode, we will definitely work on that.
Thanks for the feedback and thanks for using us for field day. Reach out anytime!
I think he is right the class and section don’t show in the log, even in edit. It is there when you download the .adi file.
Thanks for clarifying. Perhaps with coding changes it may be possible to enable text/field wrapping to avoid the need to scroll left/right. I understand the complexities of contesting software and appreciate the challenges.
Two other notes: during Field Day some WRL fields would go blank after having been defaulted (e.g. power, freq). I was using an iPad. Also I noticed that despite a frequency being entered the band must also be entered. Seems like an easy thing to resolve. If the freq is known it must logically be linked to a band.
Keep at it!

I logged on paper while in the field during Field Day. Is there a way to input the Field Day log with the class and section now that the event is over? I don’t see a way to create a Field Day log…just a normal contest log with sent and received signal report.
If you access your field day log through the “log contacts” page the category and section are not visible. In order to see categories and sections I have to access my field day log by going to Contest > Recently Completed Contests > Ham Radio Field Day! > Log Contest Contacts.
I have full faith the WRL team will get these bugs worked out, and am very impressed with what they’ve offered us for free.
