I’ve tried the apps where you practice CW. They’re okay but not great. I’d love to see HRP apply their teaching style to a class on Morse code.
Hi Lance
My favorite mode is CW and it is the best mode hehehe. I talked to the team about it. Right now we are working with several things but I know that in the future we are going to integrate something to teach morse code ![]()

This is an incredible idea! I would love to see this!
I also think this is a great idea!! I myself also want to learn and I think lots of other people would get a lot of value from this.
I found it very helpful to get a book and learned to read and write CW before using a keyer.
I would like to see that also, I would sign up for it.i have taken every course you offer or still on working with your courses. Except the new emcom. I PLAN TO DO IT WHEN FINISHED WITH ADVANCED EXTRA.
This would be AWESOME! Please do it!
I agree, it would be awesome! I’m studying for my HAM radio technician license now.
I agree. Sign me up.
@WP3C That would be awesome to integrate morse!! Thanks for info
Challenge accepted. Go for it, James!

CW training (listen) still makes me break out in a cold sweat.
Any updates here? Or perhaps a “sub-community” here looking to learn and start operating through CW?
The task almost seems impossible to complete solo…
#lookingforCWlove lol
@AD8QB I am starting to learn with morse mania and vband, slowly but surely, trying to learn four to six letters a week. My XYL is way ahead of me and waiting on me so I gotta get hot. Stay safe mate, 73
I’m finishing up the book, “The CW Way of Life”. Def a good read. I’m also using Morse Mania and I ordered a putikeg straight key to start practicing with. Once I get semi-comfortable “code talking” and “head copying”, I’ll start hunting beacons. Gotta start somewhere!
I agree! If y’all made this, I would definitely sign up
The specific spacing in morse code (for a straight key) drives me crazy!
I learned with MorseMania and it really helped me I now operate normally 25wpm so I definitely recommend MorseMania!
