FT4 and MSFK

I was working FT4 earlier and my contacts were correctly logged showing mode as FT4…Today working FT4 my contacts were getting logged as MSFK mode…is this normal?

@KJ7LEX Good Morning Alan,

They are currently, typically marked as MFSK as that is the parent mode of FT4. We are going to be changing this so it shows to the user as FT4 but exports as MFSK and FT4 correctly.

OK Thanks…The contacts I logged in FT4 are not showing up in my log as FT4 they show MFSK and there is no tab on leaderboard to show MFSK…Also I noticed that I worked several contacts from South Korea and no flag is displayed for that country in my log.

@KJ7LEX Yes that is correct, they are marked as MSFK as FT4 is a sub mode of MFSK. This is what we are going to be changing.

Ok..I understand but I was wondering why 2 days ago my FT4 contacts were being recorded as FT4 in my log, not MSFK. And there is no tab in leaderboard area for MSFK and the FT4 tab had no records for day.

@KJ7LEX Not sure. Where those contacts imported vs being logged in WRL? Currently we only log them as MSFK. They obviously can be changed to FT4 manually but we don’t mark them as such. As I mentioned we will be changing this soon though.
