So I bought a new antenna, this one to be exact:
and now I cant find any stations and the ones I can find are so faint that I cant hear them or they sound like their underwater. I know I need to tune it but im not sure how.

Do you have another Co-ax to try, or test current co-ax on a different antenna? Make sure you have a good BNC connector to the radio. I bought a cheap adapter to go from my UHF style to BNC, and it’s pretty sloppy…sometimes almost no signal until I wiggle it.

I think the issue is I didn’t set the radiator and radials to the standard length. But my coax is some nonsense I bought of amazon so it is something that needs to be tested
