Starting filling in info , put in call sign
Entered country , all good
Hum still asks for state ( if $country== Canada change state to province) etc
Started looking through stuff and spot band plans , awesome got check this out , hum US band plans ( on open band plan check users $country )
This is where I stopped and was about to delete the app but figured if I don’t say anything it will not get better.
Using the browser app I just typed in Canada and under “Their State” it says “Select Region” and when I clicked on that it gave me a list of Provinces in Canada to choose from. Yours doesn’t do that?
When I entered your call sign in the Android mobile app it automatically filled in Manitoba for the state.
As to the Band Plans, yes, they are aware of it and have already said that they would be implementing that in the future.
Thanks for the quick response , it did give me a list of Canadian provinces. I take it this is fairly new software , I just found out about it from the Ham Radio workbench pod cast and decided to check it out . I will continue to follow and see how the software progresses.
@VE4TNT Happy to help. The software is a couple years old so it’s really a newborn compared to places like LoTW and especially QRZ, but like a newborn it’s growing rapidly with all the associated “teething” problems one would expect.
I would recommend that you just continue to play with it when you have the time as you’ll probably find a lot to like, and there will be the things that crop up that you wish were different or better. But one thing that is a real feather in their cap is their responsiveness to Bug reports, so if you find something that’s a true bug be sure to report it. The better you can document it, the better they can understand the issue and address it.
