Hi all,

I’m an old ham returning to the hobby after being away for 30+ years. Tested for Technician on November 4th last year, General on November 21st, and today, January 6th, 2024 just passed my Advanced Extra exam. Back in it! LOL

Was first licensed in 1974, but let my license expire in 1994. While in the military, I was a US Navy MARS Operator from 1985 to 1989. Hope to catch some of you on the air soon.

Hello Mike,

I was away from radio for about 30 years, too. Passed my extra class license, too. US Navy Radioman and talked with MARS operators many times over the years. Learning morse code, these days.
