Log editing "date" field problem

When adding new entries to the log the “DATE” field does NOT take data, it did previously with my old QSOS added… The date field info rejects any info on this particular field. All other fields OK…What has changed in this field? -Dave,k3dgr

Hi David, I just did a few tests and I was able to log with different dates and update the dates on a previous contact without a problem.

Can you let me know more details about the issue you are running into so I can find it?

Thanks for your patience!

2/14/24 Only 1 field not being auto-populated “Their QTH” shoud be immediately populated from the lookup source, when typing in the new call. It has to MANUALLY typed in as it is left blank …Hmm…bug?..
all other fields are Working just spiffee!!!
congrats on the logger, 73’s Dave

2/28/24 Additional Logging suggestions & fixes…??

  1. auto populate the “his QTH” field automatically during new call record input. Now manually has to be filled - waste of time
  2. allow sequential tabbing over each field in order, with tab key, now jumping around.
  3. allow up/dn arrow in header to refresh the log in reverse or current order. Not working now…
  4. have log remember previous “modes” to autofill fields from last new call record input. - waste of time to re-type the same info for each new record…
  5. add a preferenes or config sub menu to header ??
… overall, the logger is working fine for me, thanks for the hard work with the software code, and the “search” ability…, 73’s Dave,k3dgr

Alfredo… Tabbing is sequential down to "Time " field, then jumps out completely to ENTRIES label but when positioned manually back to “Date” field, its sequential to the end of the logging input… so… … Fix the exit glitch please…
( still no auto fill for “Their QTH” field)…73’s Dave k3dgr
