Map image missing when Download Map functionality is used in Safari

In Safari (MacOS), in the Share Map interface, there’s a Download Image button (under the share options at the top of the screen). When that button is clicked, the resulting jpg downloads but when opened, the jpg does not have the actual map portion of the screen. It only has the stats on the left hand side. I tried the same functionality using Chrome (MacOS) and it worked as it should.

Yes, issue is ongoing. IE. The map share link display a blank (just white space) map when opened and also the downloaded jpg is missing the map in the same manner.

@KZ8Z Absolutely! Most of us are radio enthusiast as well so we are trying to build a platform that we would want to use, not just a product to try and make money! There are so many features we are wanting to add and working on adding to make a solid product! Thanks for the kind words, it really doesn’t go un-noticed!

Thanks Brad. I just tested it and it does seem to be working now. Nice Work! Thank you!

By the way, and maybe this should be a different bug but I noticed on the map view that it does not display all of the QSOs. It always displays a pin drops less than the actual number of QSOs. I also had a friend bring this up to me. We are both on Macs. Attached is an example. there should be 38 pin drops but there are only 25.

This blank map issue seems to be back in Safari. It appears that whatever recent map changes were made, those changes backed out the fix that was in place. The downloaded map is now blank again. CCing @N0APX @K4AZE for visibility.

@KZ8Z Hey David, Thats odd I tested it on Safari and didn’t have any issues (a couple of our devs use mac’s as well). I’ll reach back out to the team and have them take a look and we’ll push another fix for this! Sorry for the trouble!

Andy, same issue here. It’s been at least two days since it started. MacOS and Safari. Brave browser works fine.
