Anyways I am new to all this. I have always had a interest in this hobby. Due to health issues I had to take a early retirement from the police department. Now I have nothing but time. I just currently got to handle radios
Baofeng uv21 and a Radtel RT-4D I also picked up a DMR Hotspot

Welcome Clarence …De (this is) N5LYS out of Pasadena, TX.
I am currently Technician Class Operator and am studying for my General Class License (ticket). Once you receive your License from the FCC, that’s when the fun REALLY begins. I operate on the VHF/UHF Bands and I want to learn more about using “Hotspots” to be able to transmit to stations FAR and WIDE . Once you get familiar with the “ins” and “outs” of Amateur Radio, I hope that you will want to study so you can upgrade your licensing privileges…there’s a WHOLE new world with Amateur Radio and LOTS to learn…

De N5LYS
