Offline Log Lost My QSOs

I got back from activating a POTA where I logged 136 contacts through my Mac, which has the WRL iPhone app installed so I can use WRL offline. I was getting ready to upload my log to the POTA site, and noticed I am missing 20 minutes worth of QSOs. I ended my activation at 0:00 UTC, but my log only goes to 23:41, and I am now missing 20 minutes worth of QSOs that I don’t think I can get back.

When I left the POTA site, it had shown that new logs had to be uploaded (because I lost signal at the POTA site), so I just shut my laptop, without powering it off, and while leaving WRL open. Once WRL connected to the internet, the QSOs were gone.

I doubt there is any ways to get the QSOs back, but I would love to have the team look into what caused this to prevent this in the future, or for me to learn if I did something wrong for future activations.

Just as a reference, here is the last logged contacts I made, compared to the last times I was spotted

@W2DIY Hey Daniel,

We were able to recover them for you. On the device that you logged the contacts (and with a stable internet connection) close the app completely and then re-open it. You should see all the contacts. Let me know if something is missing.

Hey @K4AZE! I am not seeing the QSOs that were recovered. All I am seeing is the QSOs that I went back and added in based on the signal reports given via the POTA spotting page (since I assumed there was no way to recover after I made my post).

I made sure that I closed out the app, and relaunched it on the same device, while connected to my home network with stable internet.

Right now the log has 129 QSOs, which is different from the 118 in the screenshot. Once again, that is from me creating the logs back based on the POTA logging page. Aside from that, there are no new entries

@W2DIY Just a heads up, we can typically restore any contacts. The team actually caught this before you posted about it and restored them but its odd your saying your not seeing them except for the ones you manually added back. close out of the app and reopen it, it should show 136 contacts now.

@K4AZE It looks like everything was restored now! I assumed everything was lost since they were offline, but that’s awesome that you guys are able to restore them!

As always, I really do appreciate the help! Was scared that I lost those contacts…
