Is there any way to send logs to https://qslmaster.com/
I’ve never seen that site before and will check it out. However, I believe that the staff at WRL plans to introduce its own version of QSL software in the coming year.
Yes. However, you can still easily export contacts from WRL and upload the ADIF. to QSL Master.
Just curious before I sign up - what does QSLMaster do that isn’t already done by eQSL?
Not sure…but in my opinion, eQSL is horrible
You’re preaching to the choir, Stuart. I despise eQSL but I upload once a month just to satisfy those that only confirm that way.
@VE9CF I couldn’t agree more!
I use multiple locations and eQSL (unlike LOTW and WRL) doesn’t have a good way to deal with that. So, I have pretty much stopped using it.
@W7YBY I try to upload to eQSL but it errors every time. I go in weekly and confirm all the ones that come in but uploading to that site is painful for the $5 I pay a month for that service. If WRL had that feature! Be safe Jeff WV1DAD
If you do LoTW does it do the same thing?
The challenge is that WRL is not used by the critcal masses (yet maybe) in the ham community.
Therein lies the problem. I heard yesterday that there are 40,000 users on WRL but I see few confirmations in my log. LOTW appears to have about 159,000 registered users. So WRL has grown quite a bit and may be the modern alternative to LOTW and maybe even QRZ in the years to come. Time will tell.
I feel that once newer HAMS come onboard into the HAM world and start new with WRL then that is how the numbers will rise. I am sure there are many that will never go away form QRZ or LoTW. Agree though @KQ4Y that time will tell
We currently have 48,000 users and we’re growing at 1k per month!!
We’re planning to become a new centralized source for confirmations.
Today we have some great integrations and we plan on expanding those too.
I’m a big fan of “one stop shopping” and would rather not have many apps that need to be upgraded and/or updated. So, the more stuff (confirmations, contesting, QSLing, CW and digital mode receiving and sending, and even remote operation) that could be combined would add to the base product and bring in additional revenue.
@KQ4Y agreed! Plus with everything integrated into one place, it will provide a much smoother operation. We’re in this for the long term.
We’re pretty much adjusted to the new database, so in a given month, we are usually targetting:
2-3 Major Features → these are larger complex new features that move the roadmap forward
15+ Mini Features → Small enhancements that improve your experience or add small new functionalities!
