Full QSL (Direct, Bureau, LoTW) management in WRL Logbook

At the moment, WRL does not provide full management and cataloging of direct and bureau QSLs. In particular, it is not possible to mark each QSO using the standard QSL fields for:

  • QSL sent (direct)

  • QSL received (direct)

  • QSL sent (bureau)

  • QSL received (bureau)

This functionality is essential for operators who still actively manage paper QSLs and need accurate tracking for awards and confirmations.

Additionally, when importing an ADIF file that already contains QSL-related fields, those data are currently lost once the log is imported into WRL. Preserving all standard ADIF QSL fields during import would be extremely important for data integrity and for users migrating from other logbooks.

Along the same lines, adding the ability to send, receive, and properly mark QSL confirmations via LoTW, and to automatically reflect that status in the corresponding QSOs, would be a major step forward. With full LoTW integration and proper QSL status handling, WRL could easily become one of the best logbooks available today.

Thank you WRL team for the great work you are doing on World Radio League. WRL is a modern, powerful, and very well-designed logbook, and it already shows a lot of potential to become a reference tool for many radio amateurs.
Thank you very much for your time and for considering this request. I truly believe that improvements in this direction would make WRL an outstanding, all-in-one logging solution.

@IT9KBT We have several updates coming around QSL. I’m adding this into the task we have setup for this upgrade.

Thanks for the write up.
