Refresh after long period

I didnt find an specific place to share this, but here it goes. Im running multiple instances of WRL, online and iphone and more recently desktop in all my radio related computers. As I run a remote station with a Flex, my station if on almost 24/7/365. One of the many things I like about WRL is that it syncs between all instances regardless, which is perfect for me, because I can be working FT8 thru a Mac on my remote shack and the next minute Im running SSB on my iPhone or FT8 on my iPad, etc., but a lot of times, after a long period of inactivity the instances of WRL tends to stop updating with QSOs logged unless I hit refresh on all the browsers, and in the desktop version I need to close it an open it again.

I dont know if I am the only one experiencing this (like I said, in my operation style my station is on and live 24/7/365) or if it is normal behavior (probably it is).

HI8O

PS: I run desktop versions on the shack Mac and on my personal Macbook (that I use remote), and run web version of the Mac, the Macbook and the backup PC (running on the background on the shack).

For What its worth,

I can confirm that web browsers need refreshing. If I’m on my browser and doing nothing else it is up to date. If I tab out to other apps, or other browser tabs for a while. I return and have to refresh. I do know processes within computers are prioritized. If a process is not active, it will pause based on system demand. I am no computer scientist but it is what I have observed over the years.

I cannot speak intelligently about the desktop or mobile apps. I’m just getting started with them. but thanks to your post I will be on the watch.

@HI8O The current iteration of the desktop app is still VERY VERY beta. We have alot of updates and changes coming for it in the new few weeks that should help elevate some of this.

Thanks for all the support! It really means A LOT to us all!

Thanks & 73
