Suggestion: Add mapping for selected QSOs

I would find it incredibly useful to be able to map a subset of my QSOs in the QSO manager or even in a logbook. I log by month and sometimes I just want to share todays QSOs or just my FT8 QSOs.

Also color coding for mode would be awesome as well in mapping.

This is a good suggestion! I’ll add it to our mini features for discussion and talk to the team about it.

One thing you could do as a temp work around would be to create a new logbook and then use the QSO manager to move the qso’s for (in your example) ‘today’ into that new logbook then share the map that way. Then just move the qso’s back to your monthly logbook (i have now started creating logbooks by month too, very helpful).

Also, you can use the map customization under the map tab inside your logbook and goto the ‘Advanced’ tab and then select a specific color for mode and then click the ‘add mapping’ button. This should give you what your looking for there i think.

I have done something similar as well as exporting the QSOs to a file and using a 3rd party tool to map them. Just would find it less cumbersome if it was right from the place the QSOs exist. This would be a heavily used feature for me.
